Vanishing Point

Vanishing Point

My favorite time of day to take photographs is dawn. The light is so subtle and ever-changing. In Humboldt County we have lots of fog. This morning was bright and clear and the sun was rising in the East, conveniently behind a tree … the bridge (actually three spans jumping from land to island to island to land) is called The Samoa Bridge, and goes between Eureka, California and the Samoa Penninsula where Samoa and Manila, California can be found. The water here is part of Humboldt Bay.
